Product Videos on Amazon

Improving listing content led to an increase in positive reviews.

While helping ALEKO grow its positive feedback, I produced a series of videos with instructions on how to assemble some of the products. Not every listing was allowed to have a video next to product photos, so I included those in the product review section instead. Amazon then featured those videos in their "product videos" section, and customers could learn more about the product before committing to purchase.

Such an approach increased product awareness, led to more sales and decreased returns, as customers had a better idea of what they got. Instructional videos with tips on setting up products gained even more popularity.

As a result of improving the content of product listings, they started gaining more positive reviews. Using instructional videos, customers could get on track fast and less likely to think their product was defective.

 

Bringing automated technology to increase feedback.

Email marketing brought us hundreds of positive reviews in no time.

 

One of the ways to gain more positive feedback is to remind happy customers to share their experiences with others. When I got on this task, ALEKO barely used email marketing but held an extensive database of existing customers.

I created an automated system to contact customers about their previous purchases and offer to leave honest feedback and receive discount coupons.

Along with that, I connected ALEKO shopping platforms to xSellco services and created an automated email system to monitor future purchases and remind customers to leave honest feedback.

These two improvements brought us hundreds of positive reviews on all platforms in no time.

 

Growing Google Business reviews with in-person visitors.

Asking customers to leave an honest review on Google maps resulted in hundreds of five-star reviews.

ALEKO had fair foot traffic in their office by local visitors who shop in-person or pick up their product. I created QR codes customers can scan and leave Google Reviews fast. Customer service encouraged all visitors to participate in exchange for a small discount, regardless of what customers wrote.

QR code was allowing me to monitor its usage and keep statistics. As a result, we gained hundreds of five-star reviews on our Google Business account and got a stable 4.5 stars rating.
